Reflections Hair
On Saturday 21st October, staff from across Reflections’ 13 salons and 2 academies came together to party and celebrate another successful year.
The event was held at the historic Harbour Hotel in Bristol and was hosted by Drag Artist Alfie Ordinary. Over 160 guests arrived to a Prosecco reception followed by afternoon-tea style canapes.
Major winners of the evening included Reflections Bedminster as Salon of the Year which was sponsored by Timely. The Bedminster team will enjoy £300 towards a Team Night Out as part of their prize. Also revealed were the winners from each of the 4 categories within the Reflections 2023 Hairdressing Competition. The competition is put in place to reward and recognise outstanding talent across the group. Judge Jon Walker of Wella UK found both the quality and number of entries exceptional.

Kelly Small, Salon Operations Director commented “The standard of the entries and the awards evening in general just gets better and better – we look forward to it all year! It was so much fun and a real opportunity to say thank you to our dedicated staff for another amazing year as part of the Reflections family. I don’t know of any other business that comes together in the same way to celebrate and recognise its staff – we are extremely proud to be able to host such an event”
The event also celebrated the Chairman’s 80th birthday. Clive Barrett, who is still very much a part of the business, received a touching tribute from his children Clare Barrett (Reflections MD), Matt Barrett (Reflections Academy Tutor) and Abbie Barrett (formerly of Reflections Next Level Training) and a rousing rendition of Happy Birthday from all staff.
The evening was topped off by group sing-alongs on stage with the backing of Bandeoke! An absolutely fantastic time was had by all.
