Tanya - Senior Creative Director at Yate North

I get up at… 5 in the morning, as I’m an early riser. I currently live in the Wye valley which even though its a bit of a trek to Yate South it doesn’t take that long.

My breakfast is… Its a Banana!

My work wardrobe consists of… Black work clothes that reflect creative personality.

My job entails… Making clients feel welcome and happy. Having worked on the shop floor for over 25 years I’m able to help, support and offer advice to the team as well.

How I got here… Whilst in year eleven in school I chose to do a three month night school training programme to get an insight in hairdressing at Reflections Yate. As soon as I left school in 1995 I started an Apprenticeship with Reflections and 28 years later and I’m still here!

Best part of my working day… When clients are leaving with a smile on their face.

After work I… Like to relax and enjoy my garden and vegetable patches which we use throughout the year.
