Next Level are the business development section of Reflections Hairdressing & Barbering Training Academy. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and professional person to join our busy team. We are ideally looking for a part time position, but would consider full time.

Tutor/Assessor Position

The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate the following qualities:

  • Demonstrate energy and passion to motivate and train learners
  • Strong communication skills, be approachable and able to initiate ideas
  • Ability to prioritise, good organisational skills and able to adhere to deadlines and targets
  • To have full competency and a passion in the delivery and assessing of Study Programmes and Apprenticeship Standards in the following areas: Business Administration Customer Service Team Leading & Management
  • Hold a recognised teaching qualification (PTLLS, Award in Education and Training, as an example)

Tutor/Assessor Duties to include:

  • Plan and deliver training to learners that identifies individual learning needs, preferred approaches and prior skills and knowledge to ensure maximum impact
  • To support the delivery underpinning of knowledge through workshops and one to ones, in line with the above-mentioned programmes
  • To ensure all workshops and sessions are fully prepared offering inspiring and interactive delivery
  • To monitor learner progress and performance in meeting their individual training plan, aspirations and set targets
  • To schedule timely visits and carry out assessments/training within the workplace where appropriate
  • To support learners with their functional skill developments
  • To work with learners in preparing them for the world of work and Employability Skills
  • Ability to demonstrate and deliver high quality training
  • IT literacy and knowledge of Microsoft office a must
  • The successful candidate will be working with learners and employers in raising the standards and quality of training
